Every dog is a story in motion — and this session is designed to capture them exactly as they are: wild, goofy, soulful, cautious, bold, or somewhere in between.
A Brown Spot photoshoot is a candid, outdoor experience where we’ll let your dog be a dog to capture that unique personality you love. We’ll work together to capture great shots and make sure it is a great time for your pup!
How it works
You Book the Session
We’ll start with a quick questionnaire about your pup's personality, quirks, comfort level, and energy.Choose the Location
We'll pick a location that matches your dog’s vibe — from trails and open fields to riversides and city parks.Shoot Day
Expect a relaxed, fun session where your dog gets to be themselves. We have up to two hours on location, so we’ll take our time and let your dog settle and have fun.Edit & Delivery
Within seven days, you will receive a curated proofing gallery to select your ten (10) favourite photos. Within another seven days, you will receive a link to download your professionally edited photos —two weeks for the final delivery.

Sessions are typically scheduled early morning or late afternoon — for the best light and a calm atmosphere. If the weather forecast within the 24 hour window doesn’t cooperate, we’ll reschedule at no cost. Cloudy and showers still work, but we’ll decide together to make sure we are all in.

Yes! My own dog is fear-based reactive, so I understand their needs. We’ll work at their pace and necessary distance to make sure the dog is comfortable and having a good time.

No problem at all. We can use a long line and work around the location to make sure the dog is safe. Post will take care of the leash.

The Brown Spot Photoshoot includes up to two dogs from the same household —$50/extra dog.

Usually, it takes around an hour. But I will allocate up to two hours to ensure we give your dog time to settle and release some energy, and we don’t need to rush.

Sessions within Ottawa and nearby areas (Gatineau/Ottawa Valley <50km) are included. If we’re going further afield a small travel fee may apply — we’ll chat about it in advance.
